Biographical Information[edit]
Rogelio "Roy" Valdes played in the majors with the Washington Senators in 1944.
There is a photo of Valdes in the book Williamsport's Baseball Heritage. The book says that Valdes left the team in 1944 after becoming homesick for Cuba but returned in 1945 to play the whole season.
