Biographical Information[edit]

Ross Mersinger was a minor league pitcher.

Mersinger played his collegiate ball at the University of Maryland. After graduating, he was signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. On July 29, 1964, while pitching for the Gastonia Pirates, he pitched a no-hitter against the Greenville Braves.

In 1966, he moved over to the Chicago Cubs organization where he played for two seasons. He retired from baseball after the 1967 season.
