Rosemont College announced it would start sponsoring baseball in 2022. In March 2025 Rosemont announced that it will merge into Villanova University and be known as a secondary campus of Villinova; Villanova University, Rosemont Campus beginning in 2027. The athletics teams will be transitioned to club teams following the merger.
