Rookie Stars cards

A Rookie Stars Card is a baseball card highlighting one or more rookie or prospect for the upcoming season. Occasionally a player might appear on such a card two or more times, or might appear on a Rookie Stars card after having had a dedicated card in a previous set. Thus this card may not be the player's rookie card, which is a hobby term indicating the player's first appearance on a card.

When a number of players appear on the same card, the players can be grouped by position (e.g. "Rookie Outfielders") or by team (e.g. "Phillies Rookies"), or just randomly.
