Left-handed pitcher Ronny Inecia was 0-1 with a team-best 4.12 ERA for the Netherlands Antilles in the 1988 Baseball World Cup; the ERA was deceptive as he allowed 13 unearned runs among his 22 runs in 19 2/3 IP. He gave up 26 hits (4 homers) and 10 walks while striking out seven. He also threw 8 wild pitches. He played in the 1991 Pan American Games. Inecia later coached for the Antilles, in both the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup and 2009 Baseball World Cup.
