Ron Wellman

Biographical Information[edit]
A pitcher in college at Bowling Green State, Ron Wellman was head coach at Elmhurst College from 1972 to 1981, going 210-136 during that span. He then moved on to Northwestern University from 1982 to 1986, leading the school to a 180-97 record. Among his players at Northwestern was future big league player and manager Joe Girardi.
Wellman was Athletic Director at Wake Forest University from 1992 until retiring in May 2019.
