Ron Torgalski

Ron Torgalski is a college coach.

As a basketball player in high school, he helped Christian Laettner take Nichols High to a New York state title, winning tournament MVP honors. In college, he averaged 10.6 assists per game in 1989. He played professional basketball in Sweden after finishing college.

Torgalski became assistant coach at the University of Buffalo in 1999-2000 when the baseball program was revived and took over the head coach job in 2006. He remained head coach until the school cut baseball following the 2017 season. He also has been an assistant basketball coach at the college level.
