Biographical Information[edit]
Ron Steiner was a college coach.
Steiner played both basketball and football at the University of Wisconsin. In 1960, he and his football teammates won the Big 10 title and went to the Rose Bowl.
After college, he coached football for 30 years at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He also had two stints as the head baseball coach at Wisconsin-Stevens Points. He first took the reins in 1976 for just one year. Then in 1983, he became head baseball coach again until 1986.
