Biographical Information[edit]
Ron Moeller pitched four seasons in the major leagues. Most of his games were in the first year of the Los Angeles Angels, in 1961.
Moeller was 17 when he pitched his first major league game for the Baltimore Orioles in 1956 and 24 when he pitched his last.
He was with the San Antonio Missions in 1957.
He is one of five major leaguers named Moeller. One, Joe Moeller, was a contemporary, and while they both pitched in Los Angeles (Joe for the Dodgers), they were not there at the same time as Ron was with the Angels in 1961 and 1963 while Joe was with the Dodgers in 1962, 1964, and afterwards.
