Biographical Information

Ron McKee became general manager of the Asheville Tourists in 1980 and held the role until 2005. He was named the South Atlantic League Executive of the Year in 1984, 1990 and 1996. In 1999, he was inducted into the South Atlantic League Hall of Fame. His wife Carolyn McKee would join him in being so honored in 2012.
