Ron Liebman

Ron Liebman (May 24, 1944 - January 26, 2023) from Flushing, NY was a long-time presence at SABR conventions, having attended over 90% of them up and until his health declined. He was a baseball researcher who had done work for the SABR biographical committee. Liebman, or someone posing as him, has been banned from both the BR Bullpen and Wikipedia for repeatedly providing edits that were unsubstantiated. Additionally, Liebman or the person posing as him has repeatedly falsified their identity by using "sockpuppets" and anonymous IP addresses at both sites. See this Wikipedia thread about Liebman.

Liebman, or his impersonator continued to attempt to return to Wikipedia until late 2018 before eventually giving up. He passed away on January 26, 2023.
