Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Ron Hafner played in the minor leagues in 1958 and from 1960 to 1962. He was generally weak with the bat, hitting .240 with 126 hits in 181 career games. He managed a .295 mark for the Clinton C-Sox and Lincoln Chiefs in 1961, however.

After his playing career, he became a scout. He worked for the Chicago White Sox in 1963 and the Seattle Mariners from 1990 to 2010. He was involved in the drafting of pitcher Denny Stark.
