Biographical Information[edit]
Ron Campbell belted one career home run, on September 6, 1964 off Ray Sadecki of the St. Louis Cardinals. Ron was the Chicago Cubs' starting second baseman for most of September 1964. The ascendance of Glenn Beckert in 1965 made Ron superfluous, only appearing in 26 more games over the next two seasons.
