Biographical Information[edit]
Ron Braden was a college coach.
He set a school record by picking off three baserunners in an inning and was All-Midwest Conference. He later coached TSU (assistant, 1973-1976), Fisk University (1980-1981) and Kentucky State University (1988-1995). He also was head golf coach at Kentucky State for 12 years; the school won the National Minority College Golf Championship in 2000. He was also a district executive with the Boy Scouts and Sports Information Director. He was part of the staff for the 1996 Olympics for badminton. He was also coached football at Fisk. He was 109-245-3 in baseball.
