Biographical Information[edit]
Ron Bachman was a college coach.
Bachman coached Aurora University from 1965-1967 then coached at his alma mater Nebraska Wesleyan University for 26 seasons from 1970 to 1995. His 417 victories ranks him as the top baseball coach in NWU history. His teams won 14 Nebraska-Iowa Conference titles and made three appearances in the NCAA Division III playoffs.
He was also a professor of Health and Physical Education at Nebraska Wesleyan and coached the wrestling team from 1969 to 1982. He was inducted into the Nebraska Wesleyan Athletic Hall of Fame in 1982.
