Biographical Information[edit]
Roger Dirkes was an infielder on Team USA when they won the 1974 Amateur World Series. He was All-Pac-8 Conference in 1975. The Minnesota Twins took him in the 34th round of the 1975 amateur draft, one pick after Duane Walker, but he did not play as a pro. He was an environmental engineer for 33 years.
