Roderick Eustatius has played for the Netherlands Antilles national team. After hitting .278/.430/.342 for the 2008 Royal Scorpions in the Curacao league, with 21 walks (4th in the league), he played for the Antilles in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup. Eustatius was 4 for 8 with a double, triple, run and 3 RBI - all the production except one RBI came in a loss to the Puerto Rican national team, the tourney champs. The Antilles won a spot in the 2009 Baseball World Cup with their performance.
