Robin Drache plays for the Solingen Alligators.

Drache was with Germany for the 2007 European Junior Championship, going 1 for 5 with two walks and tossing 2 2/3 shutout innings. He debuted that year for the Solingen Alligators, going 0 for 2 with a walk. In 2008, Robin hit .306/.361/.447 as a backup 1B for the Alligators; on the mound, he was 1-0 with a 2.35 ERA and 13 walks in 15 1/3 innings. Despite no homers in [[Bundesliga-1 to that point, he represented Germany in the 2008 International Power Showcase High School Home Run Derby in the US, failing to go deep.

In 2009, Robin has taken over the starting 1B job for Solingen. He is on Germany's preliminary 40-man roster for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
