Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Robert White played in the Chicago Cubs system from 1969 to 1972. He was taken by the club in the 8th round of the 1969 amateur draft, one pick after infielder Rob Belloir and in the same round as infielder Rick Burleson. He never played above A ball, averaging about 55 games played per season. Overall, he slashed .254/.343/.349 with 9 home runs, 107 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 221 games. In his final season, he hit .304/.392/.478 in 50 games for the Quincy Cubs.
