Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Robert Spinner played in the Washington Senators/Texas Rangers system from 1971 to 1973. He was taken by the Senators in the 16th round of the 1971 amateur draft.
With the Geneva Senators in 1971, Spinner hit .280/.354/.409 with 4 home runs, 26 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 57 games. He hit .285/.390/.382 with 2 home runs, 52 RBI and 24 steals in 118 games for the Greenville Rangers in 1972 and .256/.359/.367 with 2 home runs, 11 RBI and 20 swipes in 133 games for the Pittsfield Rangers in 1973. Overall, Spinner batted .271/.370/.380 with 17 home runs, 126 RBI, 54 steals and 175 runs scored in 308 games.
