Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Robert Seebold played a season of baseball (going 9 for 54 with a triple, six walks and two steals for the Hornell Maples and appearing in fewer than 10 games for the Allentown Wings) before serving in the Army Air Force in the Pacific during World War II. Following the war, he returned to baseball for one more year (10 for 32 for the Butler Yankees, briefly with the Sunbury Yankees). After baseball, he was a salesman for many years.
