Biographical Information[edit]
Robert Reich was Secretary of Labor in the first term of Bill Clinton's presidency. He held the role during the 1994 strike, later commenting that "Among the many things about which I know little, two stand out: collective bargaining and baseball." Reich also wrote: "If there is a hell, it is a small room in which one is trapped for eternity with [Don Fehr and Bud Selig]." Reich's other involvement in baseball was in changing a child labor law so that a batboy was able to work minor league games, which won him much positive press.
