Biographical Information[edit]
Robert Askew was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 6th round of the January 1984 Amateur Draft. He was named as one of two alternates for the 1984 Olympics (along with Mike Loynd) and expressed interest in signing with the Brewers (which would preclude him from playing in the Olympics), but it appears he did not do so [1]. The Chianan Luka signed him in 2000, and he .286/.346/.457 in 16 games. He left Taiwan after the 2002 season.
