Biographical Information

Robelio Carrillo pitched four seasons in the Cuban Serie Nacional through 2007-2008, going 29-20 with 5 saves and a 3.93 ERA. In 2008-2009, the southpaw fell to 1-6, 4.77.

Carrillo's record for the Naranjas de Villa Clara in 2009-2010 was 7-3, 3.11 with just a .223 opponent average in a hitters' league. He was 9th in the Serie Nacional in both ERA and winning percentage. In game two of the finals, he threw a two-hit shutout against the Industriales Lions to put Villa Clara ahead 2 games to 0.
