Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Robby Hefflinger has played in the Atlanta Braves minor league system since 2009 (through 2014). Scouted by Brian Bridges, he was taken by the club in the 7th round of the 2009 amateur draft and began his pro career that summer with the Danville Braves.

After a couple ho-hum seasons to start his career, Hefflinger walloped 36 doubles for the Rome Braves and Lynchburg Hillcats in 2011 and in 2012, he hit 16 home runs and 29 doubles, again for Rome and Lynchburg. He was named a MiLB.com Organization All-Star following 2012. In 2013, he slugged .474, while hitting 27 home runs and 25 doubles in 127 games between Lynchburg and the Mississippi Braves. He was named a Carolina League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star.

He began 2014 with Mississippi.
