Biographical Information

Robbie Beckett made 7 appearances with the Colorado Rockies in the 1996 and 1997 seasons. He threw a seven-inning no-hitter for the Memphis Chicks against the Chattanooga Lookouts on September 2, 1995, but lost 1-0. He had pretty poor control: in 1992 he walked 140 batters in 120 2/3 innings, and in 1991 he walked 117 batters in 109 1/3 innings.
