Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Riley King was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 24th round of the 2013 Amateur Draft. He began his pro career that summer with the AZL Royals where he hit .212/.311/.271. He spent a total of three seasons in the Royals chain, all at the rookie league level, where he slashed .205/.297/.273 in 114 games. He played four games with the Topeka Train Robbers of the independent Pecos League in May of 2016, getting 3 hits - all singles - in 14 at bats.
