Biographical Information[edit]
Ricky Ware has been a college coach and a minor league coach.
Ware won the 1988 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series with Hillsborough Community College as a player. He moved on to University of South Florida and was named MVP of the 1990 Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
Ware returned to Hillsborough as assistant coach from 1991-1993, then guided Tampa Catholic High School to a 32-20 record in 1994-1995. Ware then served as a scout for the New York Yankees and a coach for the GCL Yankees and Tampa Yankees. He was assistant coach at Saint Leo University for one year and head coach there from 2003-2008, going 154-154.
