Biographical Information[edit]

Ricky Ledee was once considered an up and coming star when he was with the New York Yankees but eventually settled in as a part-time outfielder. He was a very solid backup outfielder who could play all three outfield positions. His speed was above average but yet he didn't steal many bases. He was a good defensive outfielder who usually got good reads on balls and took good routes. His range was above average which made him playable in center despite not having great speed (still above average though). His arm was strong and accurate. Ledee had decent power for a backup outfielder but nothing special. He was good at hitting fastballs. He was considered a good guy who went out of his way to help teammates even if competing for playing time. He would also not complain about not playing enough.

Ricky played the role of "Ruiz", a Yankee player, in the 1999 movie For Love of the Game. He was scouted by Luis Arroyo.
