Biographical Information[edit]

Richie Moloney pitched one game in the major leagues for the Chicago White Sox in 1970, giving up no runs in one inning. It was during one of the first games that Chuck Tanner managed. Although Moloney gave up no runs, he was not given another chance to pitch, thus making him the only pitcher on the staff with an ERA of 0.00. Every other pitcher got into at least 3 games. The big star on the staff was 27-year-old Tommy John, who led the team with 12 victories.
