Biographical Information[edit]

Rich Booker played briefly in the Negro Leagues. A college football player, he was with the Kansas City Monarchs in 1952. Signed by the Milwaukee Braves, he was released due to an arm injury. He then spent 1954-1956 in the US Army. He was on the taxi squad of the NFL's Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles in 1956-1957.
