Riccardo Suardi has played in the Italian Baseball League. He debuted with T&A San Marino in 2006, going 2 for 10. In 2007, he batted .191/.224/.319 but drove in 16 runs in 47 AB. During 2008, Suardi was the main right fielder for San Marino but hit only .193/.310/.339. He was 2 for 13 in the 2008 European Cup in Grosseto. He was 1 for 7 with a double and a RBI in the 2008 European Cup Final Four. In 2009, Suardi hit .273/.367/.336. He was voted the league's All-Star utility man. He was 1 for 10 with a run and a RBI in the 2009 European Cup.
