Ricardo Imendia pitched five games for the Salvadoran national team in the 1974 Central American and Caribbean Games, posting a 6.51 ERA and going 0-1, losing to Puerto Rico's Héctor Flores. Only Jaime Galeano had a better ERA for El Salvador and he pitched their most games, one more than Nelson Valladares.
