The Rhein-Main Air Base was a large United States Air Force base located near the city of Frankfurt, Hesse in the Land of Hesse in western Germany. It was established in 1945 and closed down in 2005 and hosted a large American community. A team from the air base represented Europe at the 1966 Little League World Series.
