Biographical Information

Pitcher Reyes Moronta died in a motorcycle crash in the Dominican Republic on July 28, 2024, a little over a year after his final major league appearance. He had been pitching for the Bravos de Leon in the Mexican League at the time and had made his most recent appearance for the team only four days earlier, after which he was let go by the team and returned home. His ERA was 8.69 in 19 2/3 innings in La Liga.
