Biographical Information[edit]
Red Phillips was in the major leagues a couple of years with the Detroit Tigers, 1934 and 1936. He also played in 1934 with the Montreal Royals of the International League.
In the 1940s and 1950s he managed semi-pro teams (Boeing) and independent teams.
He is sometimes referred to "Clarence 'Red' Phillips" to distinguish from other players named Phillips.
