The only professional baseball team in the history of Red Deer, AB, the Red Deer Eskimos spent one year (1912) in the Western Canada League. They won the first half (31-22) but finished last in the second half (17-30) and lost 4 of 6 games in the championship round to the Calgary Bronchos, second-half champions.
