Biographical Information

Red Barbary, who appeared in one game in the majors in 1943, was in the Washington Senators organization for six years. He also played and managed in the textile leagues. Although not usually a pitcher, he is remembered for pitching a 22-inning minor league game in 1942 and getting the win.

Red Barbary is the grandfather of Travis Barbary and the father of Eddie Barbary.
