Raymond Tew
- Born November 20, 1949 in Johannesburg South Africa
Raymond Tew played baseball in South Africa from 1967-1992. He was twice voted the top player of the inter-provincial tournament. He won a game pitching against Italy in 1974. He managed the South African national team in their first global event, the 1995 Intercontinental Cup, then won Gold with them at the 1999 All Africa Games. He guided them in the 2000 Olympics (their only Olympic appearance), 2001 Baseball World Cup, 2002 Haarlem Baseball Week and 2003 All Africa Games (another Gold). In 2008, he was the first baseball inductee into the South Africa Sports and Arts Hall of Fame.
