Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder/catcher Raymond Patterson played in the minor leagues from 1956 to 1958. With the Vidalia Indians in 1956, he hit .339/.448/.602 with 9 home runs, 26 RBI and 23 runs scored in 38 games. He followed that with a .370/.475/.679 slash line in 117 games for the Carlsbad Potashers in 1957, hitting 34 home runs with 112 RBI, 125 runs scored and 89 walks; he led the Southwestern League in homers and runs. He slipped to .237/.341/.409 with 10 home runs and 43 RBI in 104 games for the Burlington Indians in 1958 to finish his career. He hit .317/.424/.571 with 53 home runs and 181 RBI overall.
