Ray Sons
Ray Sons was a Chicago-based sports writer and columnist, first with the Daily News (? - 1978), then the Sun-Times (1978-1991). While continuing to write, Sons served as sports editor for both publications, continuing in this capacity right up to the November 1991 heart attack which necessitated his reluctant retirement. Sons covered all sports and was an occasional contributor to Baseball Digest.
