Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Ray Litton played in the minor leagues from 1953 to 1955. His statistics for 1953 are incomplete, though it is known he played in 21 games for the Gainesville Owls and Plainview Ponies. In 1954, he went 3-11 with a 5.19 ERA in 28 games (15 starts) for the Austin Pioneers and Harlingen Capitals. He walked 113 batters in 118 innings. In 1955, he was 0-0 in 8 games for Austin.
He later served two terms as mayor of Round Rock, TX after being a city councilman for three years.
He also served in the Army Reserve.
