Biographical Information

Rawell Rivera pitched for the Puerto Rican national team in the 2012 Haarlem Baseball Week, getting the win over Japan. In the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, he had one appearance but it was a rough one - in the Bronze Medal Game, he gave up a walk, four hits and four runs (all earned) in one inning against the Dominican national team. He had a brief pro career with the Criollos de Caguas, going 1-0 with 6 2/3 shutout innings (3 H, 4 BB, 3 K) in 2017-2018 but struggling with the team the next winter (0-1, Sv, 11.91 ERA, 2.03 WHIP in 7 G).
