Biographical Information

Rashod Henry played in the Atlanta Braves system in 2007 and 2008.

He was taken by the club in the 28th round of the 2007 amateur draft. The 18-year-old played for the GCL Braves that year, hitting .279/.279/.295 with no walks, 13 strikeouts and seven stolen bases in 21 games. In 23 games for the GCL Braves in 2008, he hit .163/.241/.245 with three walks, 11 strikeouts and five steals.

On May 30, 2014, the 25-year-old was involved in an altercation that left him stabbed multiple times. A couple weeks later, on June 11, he died.
