Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman/outfielder Randy Warner was signed by the New York Mets as an undrafted free agent and played in their system from 1992 to 1996. In his second campaign, at 19 years old, he slashed .285/.326/.521 with 17 home runs and 45 RBI in 77 games between two teams; he never again posted such lofty numbers and peaked at High A. He slashed .305/.345/.517 with 13 home runs and 65 RBI with the independent Grays Harbor Gulls in 1997 to wrap up his career. Overall, Warner hit .271/.321/.427 with 49 home runs and 295 RBI in 489 games over six seasons.
