Biographical Information

Infielder Ramon Ramirez was signed by the Baltimore Orioles in 2014 and played that summer in the Dominican Summer League with the DSL Orioles 2. In 32 games, he hit .286/.375/.357. He split the following season between three different teams, the GCL Orioles (15 games), the Aberdeen IronBirds (1 game) and the Frederick Keys (7 games). he had a combined batting line of .143/.194/.159 as he went 6 for 70 in his 23 games. He was killed in a motorcycle accident in early 2016 at age 23.
