Biographical Information

Ralph Head pitched 20 years in professional ball, most notably with the 1923 Philadelphia Phillies and the 1924-25 Fort Worth Panthers. The two Panther teams each won over 100 games.

Head finished his professional career in 1932 with Norfolk.

He is one of two major leaguers (through 2007) with the last name Head, the other being Ed Head.
