Biographical Information[edit]
One of the top American sluggers to ever play in Japan, Ralph Bryant hit 49 home runs for Kintetsu in 1989 and finished his career in Japan with 259 round trippers in only 2,980 at bats; a homer every 11.51 at bats over the course of his career there. Bryant had previously played three seasons for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1980s, slugging .600 in 27 games in 1986.
