Biographical Information[edit]
Rafael Harris was a backup on the Dominican national team that won the Silver Medal in the 1979 Pan American Games. He signed with the Toronto Blue Jays and played briefly for the 1980 Utica Blue Jays, hitting .296/.472/.444 with 9 walks, 4 runs and 6 RBI in 16 games. He had 12 chances on the infield, with two errors, playing mostly 3B. Despite the solid offensive numbers, that was the extent of his US career.
