R.C.D. Espanyol

R.C.D. Espanyol has been noted primarily in Spain for its soccer teams. Like many Spanish soccer clubs, they sponsored a baseball team which was successful in the 1940s-1950s. They won national titles in 1944 (the first Spanish baseball crown) and 1953.
